I caught Thom Yorke of Radiohead on his solo tour promoting the 2014 Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes album release and his recent soundtrack score for the horror film Suspiria. This was the first show I’ve seen Yorke perform without the help of his Radiohead or Atoms for Peace band mates, but he did not disappoint. Although the tracks off his debut album, The Eraser, were an expected highlight for me, the whole set was an awesome display of how much Yorke, himself, brings to Radiohead. Now don’t get me wrong, there’s no replacement for Jonny Greenwood, but there’s no doubt in my mind that Yorke, as an individual, is a musical genius.

Thom Yorke Live Debut of Unmade

Yorke closed the second encore and the show with the song “Unmade” off the Suspiria soundtrack. It was the live debut of the track and was not included on the official setlist.
