Record Store Day 2021 Releases Drop 1 – dBot’s Top Picks for June 12 RSD

Record Store Day 2021 is being split up between two separate drops this year and here are my top picks for the first drop, which took place on June 12, 2021.

For those of you who don’t know what Record Store Day 2021 is, it’s a “gathering of independent record store owners and employees,” meant to “spread the word about the unique culture surrounding nearly 1400 independently owned record stores in the US and thousands of similar stores internationally”, according to the organization.

It’s also the day that record stores rob me of all my money, but, to be fair, it’s so worth it. Participating stores also run other in-store promotions and deals, so be sure to support your local record shop at this year’s RSD. And if your store is expected to be selling RSD exclusives, you better show up early! Especially if you want any of my top RSD picks listed below.
