New-52-Futures-End-12

Title: Future’s End Issue 12
Publisher: DC Comics
Reviewer: @MetropolisKid
Rating: 3 out of 5

Am I the only one that thinks this comic is a hot mess right now? With DC’s success with weekly series, and Batman Eternal delivering the goods, I was excited about Futures End. Batman Beyond, a potential New 52 Future, and Masked Superman gave me hope of an intriguing tale. Instead, I’m given a dead Ollie, jerky Ronnie, Tim Drake works in a bar, even Amethyst of Gemworld has no more magic. Brainiac is coming, again for like the 4th time in The New 52. There’s no way this future is going to be, so why should I care?

The series has it’s ups and downs. This issue was kind of in the middle. Hawkman, Amethyst and Frankenstein investigate the Stormwatch distress call. Faraday is following some people. Rampage is given some story. If you’re keeping up, not much happened here.
